In the Beginning there was...

I’ve always had a passion for dance music ever since the rave scene back in the late 80’s.

With memories of cramming way too many people into cars, driving to god knows where, in search of the secret rave in the fields.

I also somehow managed to land a job setting up venues with lasers and lightning in some of the UK's biggest events, fun times!

Clubbing, DJ'ing, life!

From clubbing most weekends at venues such as the Gardening Club, SW1 Club, Club UK in Wandsworth and of course, Ministry of Sound, my interest of DJ'ing grew.

I managed get hold of a cheap set of decks and my DJ journey began.

After a short time I was playing at very messy house parties, sets at pubs and wine bars weekly, a once a month residency at a local club and at the Watershed in Wimbledon.

I guess life then somehow got in the way and I focussed on my career and my DJ'ing fizzled away.

Why DJ Levl and this site?

I worked as a Web and Graphic designer for a good few years, then as a side hustle, I experimented with creating mobile games and turns out it took off!

I founded and ran an award winning and 13 time Apple featured indie game studio alongside a game developer training academy for well over a decade.

I later sold that company to one of the biggest mobile publishers in the world! I’ve been very lucky.

Now it’s time to return to my passion and get back to what fuelled me all those years ago. Whilst randomly looking to buy some DJ related themed tee’s, I couldn’t really find what I was after, so this site was born.

It’s not a huge operation, no big corporation, just me, at the moment, with a dedication to deliver epic DJ themed t-shirts coupled with the very best customer service!
